In this episode, Christine Corbidge introduces Luna, her five-year-old Warmblood-Appaloosa cross, as she demonstrates the foundational aspects of obstacle training. Luna, being Christine’s greenest horse, is the perfect candidate to showcase the basics of obstacle work. Christine begins by ensuring that Luna’s directional yields—forward, backward, left, and right—along with hindquarters and forequarters in isolation, are solid before moving onto obstacles.
